What is Cautionary / Warning Signs?
Cautionary or warning signs inform drivers in advance of impending roadway conditions, geometry changes, or hazards that require reduction of speed or heightened caution. As prescribed by IRC 67, they are equilateral triangles with red borders, white or yellow backgrounds, and black symbols.
How and Why It Works
Positioned at calculated reaction distances ahead of hazards, the high-contrast red border immediately registers in the driver peripheral vision. Under headlight illumination, the prismatic retro-reflective background reflects light back to the driver for rapid hazard perception.
Why Choose Our Cautionary / Warning Signs
- Accurate equilateral triangle geometry specified in IRC 67 standards
- Vivid red border retro-reflectivity with high optical contrast
- Precision symbol reproduction matching official IRC 67 glyphs
- Corrosion-resistant aluminum substrate for extended field longevity
- Available in standard sizes: 600mm, 750mm, and 900mm
