Start with the pooja and the tradition

Different families follow different traditions. Tell the Pandit your family's tradition and the language you prefer for the ceremony.

Questions worth asking

Ask who will bring the samagri, how long the pooja will take, whether the Pandit travels to your area and what the charges include. Ask if a second Pandit or a Bhajan Mandali is needed for your event.

For a first booking, read profiles and reviews and speak to the Pandit on a call before confirming.

Book early

Festival days and auspicious muhurats fill early. Book at least a week ahead for ordinary poojas and several weeks ahead for larger events.
